Château Larmande

1918

Saint Emilion

Grand Cru Classé

Red - 0,75 l

With archives dating back to 1585, Château Larmande is one of the oldest properties in Saint-Emilion. In this appellation where red wines are famous for Bordeaux, the predominantly clay-limestone soils favor Merlot as the main grape variety. Château Larmande is no exception to the rule with 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
This bottle of Château Larmande 1918 is a collector's bottle. It is very rare to find bottles that are more than a century old, even rarer when it is a Grand Cru Classé like here.
