The history of Maison Vincent Girardin is relatively recent. In the 1980s, in Burgundy, Vincent Girardin broke away from a long family line to produce his own wine. Little by little, he built a great success story in the heart of the Côte de Beaune thanks to the quality of his wines.
Savigny-les-Beaune is one of the oldest appellations in Burgundy; Pinot Noir thrives on this ferrous red clay soil, which generally produces fresh wines with aromas of red fruits.
This bottle of Vincent Girardin Savigny Les Beaune "Vieilles Vignes" 2017 is already ready to drink; it can also be aged for a few years.
