Château Grand Corbin is located in a famous appellation that makes Bordeaux red wines famous: Saint-Emilion. It has the rank of Grand Cru Classé.
Like most wines from the Right Bank, it has a majority of Merlot grape varieties (80%), followed by Cabernet Franc (16%), and finally Cabernet Sauvignon (4%).
This bottle of Château Grand Corbin 2007 is starting to reach its peak. Indeed, the tannins of the wood, although still present, are already well melted, and the tertiary aromas are appearing. A perfect balance is in sight for the next few years.
