Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

Located in Alsace, Domaine Marcel Deiss has been known for many years for its practice of complantation, which consists of bringing together different grape varieties on the same plot. A pioneer in biodynamics, the estate integrates this ancient viticultural practice for a better expression of the terroir.

Schoenenbourg is the greatest wine from Domaine Marcel Deiss. It also has an excellent terroir planted with all Alsatian grape varieties. However, it is a majority of Riesling which will give the wine its great hold, its minerality, its freshness and therefore an even greater balance and aging potential. Note that the result is a wine ranging from semi-dry to sweet.

This bottle of Marcel Deiss Schoenenbourg 2018 has a very high aging potential: around 40 years. Carafe one hour before tasting if you are drinking it today.
