Château Rieussec is one of the most famous wines in the Sauternes region. An appellation from the Bordeaux region renowned for these great sweet white wines.

The vineyard's soils are composed of 80% sandy gravel and 20% clayey gravel. The dominant grape variety is Sémillon which, once colonized by botrytis, allows the production of this nectar.

This bottle of Château Rieussec 1962 comes from a very good vintage in Sauternes. Time has made the aromas of this wine evolve, improving them. The tasting will be rich and complex, a true experience with this 60 year old wine.
