Château La Tour Blanche

1985

Sauternes

1er Cru Classé

White - 0,75 l

Château La Tour Blanche is a Premier Grand Cru Classé from Sauternes. Located southeast of Bordeaux, this appellation is famous for its sweet white wines.
The grape varieties used in the composition of this wine are Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, all affected by noble rot at the time of the harvest, thus allowing the production of this famous nectar.
Château La Tour Blanche is particularly demanding on the quality of their wine, so the 1992, 1993 and 2000 vintages did not see the light of day, having been judged to be of insufficient quality.
This bottle of Château La Tour Blanche improves extremely well with age like all great Sauternes wines. The tasting will offer great aromatic complexity and a beautiful opulence on the palate.
