Baron de Chirel is a special vintage from the great Spanish Bodega Marques de Riscal. Located in the heart of Rioja where the Tempranillo grape variety is used, this house is one of the most famous, particularly for its iconoclastic luxury hotel designed by the famous architect Frank Ghéry.Baron de Chirel is a high-end vintage, where the grapes are carefully selected from vines at least 80 years old. In addition, a long aging in French oak wood is applied. The result is a great red wine to age, powerful and concentrated.This bottle of Baron de Chirel 2000 is now good to drink after more than 20 years of patience, it will deliver all its aromatic complexity for a few more years.
