Created in Alsace in 1959 by an ancestral family of winegrowers, Domaine Zind-Humbrecht is distinguished by its pioneering commitment to Biodynamics. The 42 hectares of vines spread over around ten terroirs are treated as naturally as possible. The winemaking is carried out with the same spirit.
The grapes for this slightly sweet white wine (11 grams of sugar per liter) come mainly from Pinot Gris vines from Clos Windsbuhl with very limestone soil. The result is a white wine very balanced between sugar and acidity with citrus aromas and toasted notes.
This bottle of Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris Roche Calcaire 2016 is at its peak today and will last for around ten years.
