Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

Located in Alsace, Domaine Marcel Deiss has been known for many years for its practice of complantation, which consists of bringing together different grape varieties on the same plot. A pioneer in biodynamics, the estate integrates this ancient viticultural practice for a better expression of the terroir.
The Schoffweg which literally means "the path of the sheep" is a planting of Riesling, Pinots, Muscat and Chasselas on limestone soil. It produces a dry, very fatty and vanilla Alsace white wine with a very nice length on the palate. It goes perfectly with fish or poultry and their creamy sauces as well as many cheeses.
This bottle of Marcel Deiss Schoffweg 2014 should be enjoyed today or in a few years, without decanting first.
