The history of this House in Burgundy begins in 1731 with the first acquisitions of vines by Denis Latour, a few decades later, Louis Latour officially founded the House in 1797 and gave it its name. Today she cultivates the largest estate of Grands Crus in Burgundy.
A legendary appellation of the Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée benefits from an exceptional terroir which sublimates Pinot Noir to deliver very high quality red wines, a wine for aging that is at once powerful, fine and distinguished. Classified as a Premier Cru, this “Climat” (as they are called in Burgundy) from “Suchots” is one of the most renowned in the appellation.
