The history of this House in Burgundy begins in 1731 with the first acquisitions of vines by Denis Latour, a few decades later, Louis Latour officially founded the House in 1797 and gave it its name. Today she cultivates the largest estate of Grands Crus in Burgundy.

“Les Damodes” is a “climate” located in an emblematic appellation of the Côte de Nuits: Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Pinot Noir vines benefit from limestone soil and an eastern exposure, mainly giving finesse to this Premier Cru of Burgundy.
