The history of this House in Burgundy begins in 1731 with the first acquisitions of vines by Denis Latour, a few decades later, Louis Latour officially founded the House in 1797 and gave it its name. Today she cultivates the largest estate of Grands Crus in Burgundy.
The Côte de Beaune is a region of Burgundy where both great white wines and great red wines are produced, it is located to the south of the Côte de Nuits which is renowned for its red wines. Côte de Beaune red wines are generally very digestible and not very complex, focusing on the charm and simplicity of the fruit.
