The history of this House in Burgundy begins in 1731 with the first acquisitions of vines by Denis Latour, a few decades later, Louis Latour officially founded the House in 1797 and gave it its name. Today she cultivates the largest estate of Grands Crus in Burgundy.
Located in the Côte de Nuits, Echézeaux is an Appellation of less than 40 hectares entirely classified as Grand Cru and is very popular for the high quality of its wines and their rarity. The Pinot Noir is enhanced by an exceptional terroir which gives the wine a rich and complex aroma.
This bottle of Louis Latour Echézeaux Grand Cru 2013 comes from a successful vintage in Burgundy and has the advantage of being more open than average. It is therefore ready for tasting, preferring to put it in a carafe two hours before. You can also leave it in the cellar for a few years.
