Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

Located in Alsace, Domaine Marcel Deiss has been known for many years for its practice of complantation, which consists of bringing together different grape varieties on the same plot. A pioneer in biodynamics, the estate integrates this ancient viticultural practice for a better expression of the terroir.
Burlenberg is one of three red wines produced by the estate. It is planted with a vast majority of Pinot noir and a few Beurot, Meunier, white and gray Pinots. The entroques limestone soil is reminiscent of certain terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. The result is a full-bodied, mineral and thick Alsatian red wine with a long finish.
This bottle of Marcel Deiss Burlenberg 2019 can be enjoyed today, if possible after aeration for two hours in a carafe. It can also wait in the cellar for around ten years.
