Located in the Bordeaux vineyards, more precisely on the beautiful Graves and Sauternes wine route, Château Rabaud Promis is a renowned sweet white wine.
It boasts the rank of 1er Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
Like its Sauternes counterparts, its majority grape variety is Sémillon, which in the conditions of stagnant humidity which reign there favors the development of "noble rot", necessary for the production of these great sweet wines.
This bottle of Château Rabaud Promis 1976 comes from a very good vintage in Sauternes, it has improved by developing complex aromas to be appreciated today.
